Kolan Peterson
Artist Biography

Kolan Peterson's love and appreciation of nature is reflected in the strong, crisp, vivid colors and creativity of his watercolors.  He captures the beauty and the infinite variations of nature in his award winning works.  Artist Peterson is the author of two Walter Foster publications and is included in the series "How to Draw and Paint Watercolor." 

Kolan's paintings have been featured at the Classic All American Invitational Show at the Gene Autry Museum and the Annual Death Valley Western Exhibit.  Peterson was awarded 1st place in the city of Norco's 5th Annual Western Art Show in 2001.  Kolan was the recipient of the Bronze Medal in 2001 in the city of San Dimas's Annual Western Festival of Art.  He is an instructor and demonstrator in watercolor throughout the Southwest.  He maintains a studio in Hemet, California.

Donation of $3 is accepted for non-members.
